Police kill rear who held instructor hostage at unproblematic school, ending tense standoff

SWAT officers on Tuesday eve swarmed a Riverside simple schoolhouse classroom in addition to shot a rear who had taken a instructor hostage, ending an hours-long standoff.

The parent, identified equally Luvelle Kennon, 27, of Riverside died subsequently at a hospital, said Riverside constabulary Officer Ryan Railsback.

The teacher, Linda Montgomery, sustained about scrapes in addition to abrasions when she was grabbed in addition to pulled into an empty classroom, Railsback said.
